Do you find that your child always throw tantrums? Temper tantrums can range from whining, crying, screaming, biting people to throwing things.

Tantrums can make you feel frustrated and tired but you need to understand that they are a normal part of child development. This is because tantrums are one of the many ways that young children express their anger, frustration, or sadness. Children do not throw tantrums just to make your life difficult. They do so because they lack Emotional Intelligence skills.

If you notice that your child is always throwing tantrums, you can help by first finding out why they behave this way. By tracking each temper tantrum episode for a period of 2-3 weeks, you can see your child’s pattern and better understand what causes (hence preventing) the meltdown.
